An old Rymättylä farm
Kinttala appears as one of the old villages of Rymättylä as early as the 1500s, when there are known to have been two farms on the land. The farm has been in the same family since 1737, and the parish records of Rymättylä document the Kinttala family name from the late 1700s onward.
Archipelago life
Rymättylä has been a fishing parish since the 1200s, and people from here sailed regularly to Stockholm from the 1500s through the 1800s, carrying fish, potatoes and other gifts of the archipelago. The same archipelago tradition continues on our farm today — small-scale farming, cottage rental, direct sales and family life here in Rymättylä.
The hosts
Since 2022, the farm has been run by Jonne and Mira Kinttala. The farm shop is run by Heidi Kinttala.
Today
From the farm we rent two waterfront cottages via Airbnb, summer-season island cottages on Keusto, and boat berths from three jetties at our home shore. The bird tower and oak forest nature trail are free for our cottage guests. Our farm shop, open in summer, offers new potatoes, archipelago bread and sweet pies.
Welcome to enjoy archipelago life — we'll make sure your stay is calm and comfortable.
