Bird tower and oak forest nature trail
The bird tower opens a wide view over the bay of Rymättylä. From there you can scan the rich archipelago birdlife, and the oak forest nature trail takes you through the woodland at a calm pace.
Birding in the archipelago
The Rymättylä archipelago is one of the key bird areas in the Finnish Archipelago Sea. Our bird tower stands close to the shore and looks out over the bay, where many species of waterfowl and shorebirds can be seen during migration. Gulls, ducks, waders and the white-tailed eagle are all part of the local fauna.
Oak forest nature trail
Our oak forest is a rare and valuable habitat. The trail loops through the woodland at an easy pace and suits walkers of all ages.
Access
The bird tower and the nature trail are free for our cottage guests. Visitors from outside can request access by getting in touch.
